Hi! Year 2022 here, so how’s everybody going?
It’s been reaaally a while since I active in my blog. I have few ideas in my mind to make me more active here, but we will see.
Pandemic is more than two years old now, human already learn well to live side by side with it. How you guys able to deal with it?
Especially, how is your street photography passion now? Is it still well spark like before pandemic hit us? I understand from my experience, that Corona session is rough, and become a passion killer in photography world. Travel restriction going crazily tight, even only go to shopping mall nearby, or to other cities locally. A lot of new safety regulation indeed.
When I was looking back to my gallery, I considered my self as “lucky”. I still able to travel to some other cities for the past two years (due to work and some important event needs). I could not walk as free as usual of course, nevertheless, I still able to snapped here and there.
Have to admit, I do not shoot as much as before. Also, due to some busy things at work, I have less spare time to walk randomly at weekend time. Currently try to doing some schedule adjustment at work, and also “reignite” my motivation as much as before to keep shooting.
Few things that I implement to my self now are:
- Shoot because you want to shoot. Do not “force” yourself to keep try capture award winning photo, but just try to capture photos that excites your mind.
- Doing crazy amount of snapshot. Good to train our eye, and make habit of shooting back.
- Shoot first, think later. Always better delete bad photos rather miss artistic moment.
- Bring your camera everyday of course. One mandatory move indeed.
Oh, one more thing, I think Instagram is no longer great photo sharing application. They move more to short video sharing apps I guess? Anyway, I will start to share more of my photos here in my blog, rather on my Instagram page. Guess it is a good reason to keep me active here. For now my target is to post once a week for the very least (finger crossed). See you next week then!
Stay motivated and keep shooting everyday!
